Initial assessment of an IT effort is needed due to the fact no two IT setups are the same and many can be lacking documentation. It can take anywhere from a few man-hours to man-weeks depending on the size and complexity of the system(s). Risk itself is an ongoing effort that once the initial assessment has been done, falls under standard support rate.
We strongly encourage if 24/7 IT support is needed, that high availability and full out of band support remote support is enabled. We can help with this and other strategies that will help reduce emergency situations and lower cost to support.
This covers work needed to be done during off hours as needed to avoid impact to operations. "Weekend work" Is described as work done after 10:00pm Friday until Monday 7:00am, requires a 1 hour minimum time charged. Something few small businesses need, but we are able to provide if needed.
A choice of per device monthly monitor and basic maintenance verses charging by the hour. A contract based solution with the advantage being a more normalized cost model, which also allow us a greater exposure/familiarity to your IT infrastructure. In doing so, better enabled to prevent failure and risk and a more consistent effort. Will require discovery time but we can provide you with a base template to estimate the cost.
Monitor for system soundness, consistency and checking for vulnerabilities, to then patch, scan, and cleanup, as needed. Starting at $50.00 per workstation per month.
Monitor Firewall for soundness, intrusion ,consistency with ports needed, and vulnerabilities, to then patch, scan and alert for any need to address as needed. $70.00 per device(if clustered then 2 or more devices)
Regular checks for system soundness, consistency, cpu load, disk space, and memory trending, looking for and addressing vulnerabilities, to then patch, scan and to initiate to repair as needed. $150.00 per server
Monitoring system consistency and vulnerabilities overall, to patch, scan, and repair as needed. Includes all devices connected. Simple switches $10.00, Wireless and L2/3 switching up to $70.00 to monitor and maintain.
Maintain/Monitor the core tool(s) needed to maintain all of what is onsite. Done as needed depending on size of site to maintain information needed to allow reporting/maintenance and managing of state of the entire operation. Tools such as Intune, Manage Engine, Solarwinds, Altera are some of the tools used to best manage it all. Starting at 100.00 per management system.
Depending on the management tools in place and the security needs, some companies will be okay with modest needs and others opt for an advanced Security management. Solutions can be as high as $250.00 per device(Sentinel 1) or as low as $50.00 per device, it simply all depends. We can help formulate a plan and a per month cost that you can then budget with.

Cloud is typically an extension of what was once local. It presents a elevated set of considerations, primarily around containment when integrated with legacy local domains and resources and the holistic management of it all. Work that falls under solutions engineering charges until contained and then typically managed by site management tools mentioned above.
Any business, or even private individuals with a degree of capital assets is at risk of being ransomed and/or stole from. Monthly support services requires a remote support capacity, which if not available can be implemented multiple ways.
